PNG Games

The withdrawal of shipping services by Rabaul Shipping may be a serious set back in the moving of athletes to the PNG Games to be held in Kokopo, East New Britain this year at the Takubar sporting complex. The PNG Sports Foundation, the convenor of the games has raised concern that the sports complex is too slow in being built and says there is a real possibility the Games date may be deferred or moved to another centres where sporting facilities are already in existence.
