A recent survey by the Institute of Medical Research in PNG (PNGIMR) has discovered that many people aren't using the free insecticide treated mosquito bed nets that have been distributed to almost 3 million people since the start of a program run by the Rotarians Against Malaria.
Health experts have warned that PNG could face an upsurge in malaria cases due to overly relaxed attitudes to the use of bed nets.
