NCD Bus Stops
Over 200 bus stops will be built throughout the National Capital District over the next two years at an estimated cost of over K5 million. Each bus stop will cost K60,000 and this will be met by the sponsors who will be given naming rights for two years as part of their advertising strategy.

What information is needed to get a visa to enter PNG? All people visiting PNG for work, business, study or tourism purposes must have an entry permit/Visa to enter the country. Some countries can obtain a visa on arrival

Boat Passengers Survive
A boat carrying 21 men and 42 bags of dried cocoa beans recently capsized in rough seas near Madang, but the passengers managed to reach shore safely, the operator says.

Buai Smugglers Drown
Four people drowned in the Laloki River while trying to smuggle betel nuts into the city, police say. Laloki police station commander Inspector Willie Hoiba said there had been a rise in criminal activities in the Sabusa and Laloki areas since the ban on betel nut sale in Port Moresby last year.

NIO Unhappy With Budget
Gari Baki, director general of the National Intelligence Organisation, is very disappointed that the top intelligence network he heads has been allocated a mere K5.9 million in the 2015 budget. He had asked for K15 million.
He said the request for a major increase was because there were plans for NIO as well as preparations for the upcoming 2015 South Pacific Games and the 2018 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit which would involve leaders of 21 nations.
